Exclusive access to PNNL's fusion-relevant research facilities — for registered Fusion Week attendees only.

Washington Fusion Week registrants get the rare opportunity to step inside Pacific Northwest National Laboratory and see the work happening at the frontier of fusion science. Four tours, very limited capacity:

  • Radiochemical Processing Laboratory — Tuesday, September 1 (full day, ~3.5 hours). US citizens only; dosimeters required.
  • Material Behavior in Extreme Environments — Wednesday, September 2 afternoon. Dosimeters required.
  • Applied Engineering Laboratory: Transforming American Manufacturing — Wednesday, September 2 afternoon.
  • Energy Sciences Center & Environmental Molecular Sciences Laboratory — Wednesday, September 2 afternoon.

These are working research facilities, not demonstrations. Capacity is tight, the Wednesday tours run concurrently (one tour per attendee), and final participation is at the discretion of each host.

How to get in: Register for Washington Fusion Week first. Confirmed registrants will receive the tour interest form, where you'll rank your tour preferences. Assignments are made in submission order — early registrants get priority.
