Energy Toolbox Talks & Safety Training Survey
We’re have partnered with Washington state Construction Center of Excellence and PNW Center of Excellence for Clean Energy to build Toolbox Safety Talks for our energy partners.
A Toolbox Talk is a brief safety conversation that happens on a job site before work begins, usually led by a foreperson with the crew gathered around. Rather than a formal training course, it's conversational and practical, covering a single focused topic like heat safety, proper equipment use, or site-specific hazards for that day. It’s easily accessible - crew leaders can open the safety tips on cell phones on site to use. The format is intentionally short and accessible, designed to reach workers across all experience and language backgrounds. The goal is to make safety a daily habit embedded in the rhythm of the workday.
Help us improve safety training and toolbox talks for multiple energy-connected sectors of the construction industry. (Approx. 15 mins.)
