"The Global CCS Institute invites you to register and submit an abstract for the 2026 APAC Forum on Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS), taking place in Adelaide, Australia, from 17–21 August 2026.
The Call for Abstracts closes 31 May 2026. We encourage early submission. Full submission guidelines, topic areas and requirements are available through the registration portal. Abstracts should align with the Forum agenda, which can be viewed via the registration link.
With a focus on international collaboration, GCCSI’s 2026 Asia Pacific Forum will convene leaders and experts representing governments, CCS projects, technologies and services for three days to discuss the development of the CCS industry across this diverse region and the world with an aim to:
Build business networks at the Technology Exhibition and Speed Networking session.
Build knowledge of the latest developments in the plenary sessions.
Build understanding by questioning the expert panels and through direct participation in the Situation Room Workshops on the last day.
In 2026, for the first time, the forum is preceded by a 2-day CCS 101 training course for professionals early in their CCS career, making the week of 17 August an intensive CCS experience.
Held at the National Wine Center in the beautiful city of Adelaide, South Australia, this location offers much to those looking for recreation, relaxation and regeneration.
The program will include:
A multi-day APAC Forum conference (19–21 August)
CCS Training for early-career professionals (17–18 August)
A technology exhibition and speed-networking program
Interactive Situation Room workshops
Networking receptions, a gala dinner, and an invitation-only site visit (TBC)
