These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the CleanTech Alliance (“CleanTech Alliance,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) website located at community.cleantechalliance.org (“Website”). By accessing, browsing, or using the Website—whether as a guest or registered user—you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the Website.

Our Website is provided free of charge; some portions of the site are reserved for CleanTech Alliance member and participants, which may have corresponding fees.

As a member, participant, or partner of the CleanTech Alliance, you are authorized to use, download, share, and reference the Content solely for purposes that are consistent with your participation in a membership‑based trade association, including:

Internal organizational education or briefings
Policy engagement, industry collaboration, or cluster development
Workforce development, innovation, or research initiatives
Advocacy and public‑interest activities aligned with the CleanTech Alliance mission
Participation in CleanTech Alliance programs, committees, events, and member communications

Any uses falling within these categories are considered authorized, non‑commercial uses, even if undertaken by an organization engaged in commercial business operations.

However, unless expressly permitted in writing by the CleanTech Alliance, members may not:

Sell, license, or commercially redistribute the Content
Republish the Content in a manner suggesting endorsement or affiliation
Use the Content to develop or support competing associations, networks, or publications
Modify or misrepresent the Content

Nothing in this provision restricts a member from using information obtained through CleanTech Alliance participation to support their ordinary course of business, provided that the Content itself is not sold, republished, misrepresented, or commercialized.

The CleanTech Alliance reserves the right to determine, at its sole discretion, whether any use is inconsistent with these authorized membership purposes.

12. Uploading Content

If you upload or submit content:

It is considered non-confidential and non-proprietary.
You grant us a nonexclusive, royalty‑free license to use, copy, distribute, and disclose it.
